# PDFella > PDFella (also written "PDF Ella", "PDF-Ella", "Pdfella") is a free online PDF editor and toolkit. It edits existing PDF text, signs, annotates, merges, splits, compresses, converts (PDF to Word, JPG to PDF and more), runs OCR and protects PDFs. There is no watermark, and most tools need no account (a free Google sign-in unlocks signatures, stamps, adding pages and font styles in the editor).
